There is something truly patriotic about about going to the rodeo. I love rodeos. I love the queens coming out with the flags, the national anthem, and the sense of community. Here are a couple lessons I learned at the fair this year.
1. Men are not as bright as women. Brian noticed that women have generally not infiltrated the rodeo world as we have other sports. Why, you ask? Well, I believe women aren't that stupid. Yes, Stupid. (Sorry to my bull riding brother-in-law) Women self-preserve, not jump in, on, or around angry bulls, horses, or steer for that matter.
2. Nothing says county fair like an elephant ear (scone with cinnamon and sugar), cotton candy, and a teryaki bowl--okay, maybe not the teryaki bowl, but it was yummy.
